My program at New Mexico State University is to provide outreach to clients throughout the state on information for agronomic crops. The key agronomic crops I work with include: alfalfa, corn, cotton, grain sorghum, sorghum-sudan, sudangrasses, other improved pastures (such as fescue, tall wheatgrass, bermudagrass, switchgrass, orchardgrass and others), wheat, and other minor crops such as canola, dry beans, flax, guar and potatoes.
More information about our College of Agriculture and Home Economics in New Mexico as well as publications and facts on the agronomic crops can be found on our college web pages.
I am also working with the Cotton CoP to develop information on cotton with this eXtension working group.
My proposed article title is: Considerations of Organic Cotton Production and Ginning
Key words include: cotton, cotton industry, organic agriculture, organic farming, certification, organic, cotton ginning
