<content type="html">== 6. Provide some examples of specific benefits to your state as a result of being part of PLN ==

'''University of Tennessee Extension'''

* Learning about successful programs in other states helps improve our own programming.
* Face-to-face contact with counterparts in these meetings facilitates communication through the uear.

'''University of Kentucky'''

Interaction with other ANR program leaders at meetings has been exceptionally beneficial to me as a new program leader. Hearing about programming issues and concerns helps me assess needs and formulate ideas for Kentucky. Interaction with USDA was very helpful not only to me but to our Extension faculty as USDA looks for ways to include Extension in grant opportunities. I was able to conveying some of the experience of the group regarding IPM grants back to those involved in Kentucky’s IPM program.

'''University of Florida'''

*interaction with colleagues
*discussions on major intiatives, programs, and prpoblems

'''NC A&amp;T State University'''

I appreciate the opportunity to meet with colleagues and explore opportunities to collaborate across the region.
