University of Kentucky

--Continue partnership with TAMU for Centra

--Work with eXtension to increase the use of eXtension collaborative tools and services by College personnel

--Continue to explore the use of grants to help push Extension IT initiatives

--Utilize Central IT offerings such as MS SharePoint, Microsoft Office Communications Server, University iTunes site

--Increase the use of Social Media within the IT group and College personnel

Alabama Cooperative Extension System:



University of Tennessee Extension provides technical assistance to the 12 Research & Education Centers for the Agricultural Experiment Station and a number of grants administrated by UT Extension.


Oklahoma State University Extension:

  • Continue partnership of Centra with TAMU and other institutions
  • Continue to help further eXtension efforts and highlight potential opportunities for collaboration



Texas AgriLife Information Technology

  • Support Centra partnerships
  • Enhance eXtension collobration
  • Continue Excellence in Extension benchmarking database application for use CES wide; funding from ECOP and ASRED
  • Continue benchmarking database application for SAESD; no funding
  • In partnership with County Commissioners Courts, implemented year-round technology purchasing program for county Extension based equipment
  • Transition of all CECP Online course to eXtension Moodle platform; no funding



Fort Valley State University Information and Technology Area

  • Enhance eXtension collaboration
  • Improve state collaboration with 1862 partner
  • Enhance partnership with Georgia Emergency Management Agency and the Georgia Department of Education
