Notes

Participants: Rick Durham, Mary Peabody, Kyleen Burgess, Aaron Hundley, Beth Raney, Virginia Morgan,

  1. Participants were reminded to join the Community of eXtension Question Wranglers
  2. Discussion about QWs not answering or reassigning questions originating from widgets unless they are involved with the widget admins/question answerers (push back responsibility to the widget communities)
  3. If a QW sees a widget community not answering their questions (ie. they spill over into other groups to answer like QWs and CoPs), then the QW has the option of going to the QW community in the people application and sending an email to the Question Wrangler email list noting these occurrences and the name of the widget that is going unresponsive. Then the question wranglers closest to these widget communities can follow up with the community and send reminders.
  4. New changes for AaE discussed including the follow-up feature and a widget administration tool
    1. Possibility of groups in AaE was discussed as an upcoming feature in the future after follow-up is complete
  5. Phone vs. VOIP discussed as options for the upcoming AAE QW meetups. Consensus was around having a hybrid system setup where people can either dial in via telephone (esp. for those who are away from their desks) or use VOIP.
