Food Safety for Small to Very Small Food Processor's Community of Interest

The four main Communities of Interest (CoI) that the CoP will address are:

  1. Farmers that are interested in/or currently process food on their farm
  2. Small businesses interested in/or currently processing food in their home kitchen
  3. Small businesses interested in/or currently processing food in commercial facilities, and
  4. Charity, religious groups, and or special event caterers that are exempt from licensing but are interested in/or currently process food for profit

Each of these types of businesses represents a separate Community of Interest as the demographics and applicable regulations will vary depending on the state and county in which the business is operating.
