About the Wiki
What is a “wiki”?
A "wiki" is a virtual space that is ideal for working on collaborative projects. Wikipedia is probably the most well-known wiki.
The nature of the Wiki is that anyone can edit any of the pages at any time. The only people that can edit eXtension.org pages are those that have an eXtension ID. The key thing is that each edit is tracked so you can always roll back any edit that you do.
Working in the "Collaborate Space"
To work in the collaborate space you can click on the Edit View on the right of this page to take you to the edit screen. In this screen you can edit the page and type whatever you would like. You can use the tool bar at the top of the edit space to perform some basic tasks. To perform other tasks such as making lists you can use the "MediaWiki" language which is a simpler version of HTML. Here are some quick reference guides and examples:
- Quick Guide: single page chart of MediaWiki tags
