- Begin move of MiTT initiative to eXtension professional development community of practice status.
4. Tactics:
- Using current contacts in four subject matter/topic areas direct two messages, spaced two weeks apart, soliciting individuals to:
- 1. get an eXtension ID via people.extension.org, if they do not have one, and
- 2. once they have that ID go into people.extension.org, and join MiTT community.
- Make URL of national web conference (and thus training on how to use the directory) a part of all email messages.
- Message will talk about benefits of being part of eXtension in general but STRESS that this is how communication about MiTT will be done after September:
- 1. Additional updates in content, etc. would also be provided if available.
- Beginning September 1, one email will be sent to the MiTT list every two weeks. Messages will talk about: new content added since previous week, best practices learned, evaluation information i.e. Google Analytics, testimonials, etc.
- Messages will feature one topic area per message.
- Message content will be provided by each topic area and edited/templated by communications/marketing team.
- Each quarter (September 1, December 1, March 1, June 1) a communication will be sent to Extension Directors/Administrators summarizing highlights from each
5. Evaluation:
- In cooperation with MiTT evaluation specialists, changes in Google Analytics (site visits, page views, etc.) will be monitored and analyzed.
