|sessionAbstract=It is possible to support any office computing task by using quality freeware and open source software. Kansas State University has produced a KSRE Computer Tool Kit that is used to give all computer users in K-State Research and Extension a standard set of computing tools. Kansas State uses their Computer Tool kit to augment purchased applications and provide a common set of programs their volunteers can use.

:This presentation will cover the applications and utilities on the Computer Tool Kit along with how the kit is built. Discussion of licensing concerns will also be covered.
