Bruce Emmons has a ppt on the history of Extension that he will send. Video issues: - need to decide on which clips to use (appropriate) - need to check with VT PBS on copyright - need to get it digitized

Morril Island ideas: - FireAnt game - see fireants and what they do from any perspective - Company Store - place for newbies to go to get avatear-related items, clothing with logo, pennants, etc. Ex: Cisco has something like this - Energy efficient housing - some work maybe from educator in NY - Nutrition - Janyne Kizer, NCSU: Nutrition, Ohio has some kind of nutrition game. I didn't care for it when I tried it though.

Inworld Learning - Orientation: NMC orientation. here's the SURL: http://slurl.com/secondlife/NMC%20Orientation/69/107/32/. -- You have to join NMC Guest group to get to the orientation

- Non-formal Meetups - ex: helping people learn to use audio capabilities. - possibly 30 minute sessions on new things we've learned - alternately on Friday afternoons. ie, Nov. 16, 30, Dec 14 at 11:30 AM SLT (same as Pacific Time :)) - perhaps meetups could have focus... do something, make something, tour somewhere, navigate - Marissa, UGA voluteered to teach: building...texturing....creating - Tutorial places - resources available - Greg Parmer: some info on CSI: NY site http://alpha.cbs.com/primetime/csi_ny/second_life/ - Groups/identies,

Strategies of working as we move forward - brainstorming in wiki - values, guiding principles, etc: Larry J, Kevin - to start. Others react/add/etc. - not bringing "real world" geography into SL
